Distances are where the ball finished, adjusted back to calm, flat air. Typical is the middle value — that's the one offered to your bag, because it shrugs off a duff. The average is shown too.

The first opens the share sheet — AirDrop it to the Mac, or save it to Files. The spreadsheet is for reading; the copy is what restores.
Restoring adds anything missing and leaves what's already here alone, so it's safe to do twice.

Some things have no switch on purpose: the plays-like number and the slope and wind behind it, the hole the app works out you're on, and the bits that stop it showing you a confident number it shouldn't trust.

Turn off anything you don't want on screen — the working, the green numbers, the hazards, whole buttons. There are three starting points to pick from if you'd rather not go through it switch by switch.

A higher ball flight spends longer in the air, so wind and slope push it about more. If you're not sure, leave it on Normal — that's the setting the big golf apps and rangefinders use.
Only worth touching if the numbers feel consistently off after a few rounds.
Everything else — the green numbers, aiming at the green, the carries — works off the hole you're on. This is only about who decides it.

Elevation baked in for Langland Bay — works offline. Elsewhere it fetches elevation live (needs signal). Phone GPS is accurate to roughly 3–5 yards, so treat these as very good estimates rather than laser numbers.
